  1. Thank you so very much for such a moving and intimate look at your journey with SM. No matter how often I’m privileged to be a small part of the end of someone’s life, I’m always struck at how much more there is to learn, and how personal the journey for each one of us. Thank you for teaching me, for teaching all of us. If I can do anything to help anyone in your family who might be hurting, you have but to say it. (I know that’s silly, but it’s sincere.) Thinking of you all.
